Third Cohort Kickoff a Success!

CBI-ScaleUp

The third ScaleUp Cohort kickoff was a resounding success!

Nineteen new participants gathered on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Center for Business & Innovation, along with a slew of supporters including past participants, resource providers, and community partners to help celebrate the newest Scalers.

Past Scalers shared stories of success and growth as a result of participating in this in-depth, holistic business growth training series. Says Ideal Commercial Uniforms owners Gloria & Rafale Rosario, “ScaleUp taught us the way to work ON our business, instead of IN it.” The Rosarios – graduates of the first Cohort – also shared how much their business has grown in the last year: 42%, which they attribute in large part to the tools they learned in the ScaleUp program. “You just have to commit to it: strategize, put plans on paper, and do the work.”

New Scalers can expect to learn these tools, and many others including creating a strategic plan for growth and how to successfully secure funding. The diverse group of companies in the 3rd Cohort range from organic local food makers, residential housekeeping, investment firms, and videographers.
